No defense has been offered so your analogy falls. The reality of the issues plaguing the Church is just that - reality. People saw it coming, good men like Bishop Fulton Sheen who predicted that the people would have to save the Church from it's leadership. He said this over 50 years ago and this is now happening in Traditional parishes the world over, where the Faithful have grown weary of the scandals and the phaggotry and are pushing the bad apples out of their parishes. It is what is. The famous Fatima prophecies of the early 20th century told us that the coming crisis would start at the top, with the Popes. All has transpired.I don't like that answer. It's like the one lawyers use in court to defend scum bags. .
I agree with all your concerns, but here we are. It is what we do about it that now counts, and remaining embittered while doing nothing is exacerbating the issues not helping. The Church is going to fall even further, many parishes and dioceses are going away. Many churches will become mosques as punishment for a faithless people who have embraced materialism and modernity. Prepare yourself for worse to come. 'As the Church goes do goes the world', goes the old saying. And can we deny the veracity of this observation? We cannot
