Corrib Oil has unveiled ambitious plans to more than double its nationwide store presence to 100 locations by 2030, creating 1,200 new jobs across Ireland.
As part of this expansion, the company will open at least four new service stations this year. The first of these new sites, located on Model Farm Road in Cork, is scheduled to open this month, providing 30 new employment opportunities.
The expansion will involve a combination of new site developments and strategic acquisitions. Recruitment efforts are already underway, with roles available in store management, retail, operations, supply chain, logistics, and head office support.
Corrib Oil, which currently employs 1,150 staff and operates 38 service stations across 17 counties, is poised for significant growth in the coming years.
In November 2024, the company announced its partnership as the Irish franchise operator for US fast food giant Wendy's. This collaboration will see 10 new Wendy's restaurants open in Ireland over the next two years. The new outlets will include both standalone restaurants and Wendy's offerings integrated into existing Corrib service station locations.
This expansion marks a major milestone for Corrib Oil, reinforcing its commitment to job creation and growth within Ireland's retail and hospitality sectors.
